Pumped-storage power
SEO operates one of the most powerful pumped-storage power plants in Europe at its Vianden site. As a central element of the German high-voltage grid, it makes a significant contribution to supply security.
Run-of-river hydropower
In addition to our core business, SEO operates two of its own run-of-river power plants and is involved in other facilities in Luxembourg and France. This allows us to use the power of water efficiently and sustainably.
Wind power
Wind power is another key pillar. Through our subsidiary Soler and its investments, SEO makes a significant contribution to wind power generation in Luxembourg – for a clean and independent energy future.
